Low
Long Division
|
Low can perhaps most aptly be described as Bob Dylan on 33
phonograph speed. Their music seems to capture "a sixties folk
sound meets Depeche Mode" depression mentality. The simple
instrumentality accompanied by Mimi's vocals is almost hypnotic in
its effect. Low is definitely a low-key group that relies on
uncomplicated melodies and vocal emphasis. For those of you who
are in a transcendental mode, pick up a copy of Long Division and
sit back a relax in your favorite yoga position.
